Anselmo Family Origin

Hello, My name is Nicholas Angelo. My family comes from Italy but no one knows exactly what part they are from. The only information i have is that Gabriel Anselmo (later changed name to Angelo) was born on March 18 1871 in Italy. He was married to Maria Amprino born on october 15 1874 also in Italy. In fact she was an Italian citizen when she died in Fontana, California in 1962. Gabriel was was a Miner and died in San Bernardino, Ca in 1939. I believe they came to the US around 1912. This is really all I know. Any information helps! if anyone knows anywhere i can further this very futile search i'd much appreciate it! thanks!

Possibly South Italy/Sicily?

Best thing, would be to get a cencus with Gabriel and Maria on, and use the immigration date to search travel documents. Try to get other names of family and friends, which you know he/she visited or stayed with, etc to help with the search.

Luara thank you so much. I know that they did live in Williams, Arizona and that they had my great grandfather there. I suppose the best guess I have at pinpointing their origin is in the town of Brez, Italy? Thanks to everyone who helped.
