I am still trying to do the 'tree'! I don't see a Micheal and Philimena Stinziano in our family tree. Micheal and Philimena are your Grandparents but I can't figure out who everyone is after their daughter, your mother, Marguerite and yourself fit in to our Stinziano's. Help!!!!

If Louise Stinziano, (my Aunt) is your mother's Aunt, where do you and I fit in?

Regards, Patricia

Your aunt was married to my Grandfathers brother and her sister was married to another brother. Aunt Uliana I don't know if I spelled her name correctly has a daughter Helen who is a cousin of my Mother. She is still alive as far as we know and lives near us. All I know is your aunt Louise was your Mothers sister and married into the Stinziano family is this correct?I hope this helps but I don't know much more than this. My Mother is my source of information.

Forgot to mention that my cousin Helen nee Stinziano, Basciano is a widow now and lives in Etobicoke. Her son lives with her. Also, you are correct, Aunt Louise nee Aimola, Stinziano was my mother's sister.

Your maiden name Frieser is not familiar to me. I will ask Helen about that name.

Regards,

Pat (family knows me better by the name Patti)

I finally can place you in 'our' Stinziano/Aimola family. My cousin Helen nee Stinziano Basciano told me basically what you told me. Aunt Louise's husband, Louis is a brother of your grandfather, Michele Stinziano. Filomeno (Philip) your grandfather with his wife Christine nee Columbo, had quite a few sons. Louis, Anthony who married Uliano Aimola, Nicolaa who married Florence Tye and of course Michele who married Philimena who are your parents.

Helen says she is a first cousin to Margaret and I quess I am a second cousin! That makes you and I third cousins (I think!)

Helen also said your mom, Margaret had three other sisters and a brother named Louie, all are deceased.

Apparently, your mom lives near Helen. They haven't visited each other though.

Small world.

Hi all!

I am marrying into the Stinziano family this August, and I've been doing a bit of research about the family's roots.

My hubby-to-be is Tony Stinziano (born 1983 to Alfred Stinziano Jr and Catherine Stinziano (nee Kasawan)). Tony's grandfather was Alfred Stinziano Sr., son of Louis (Luigi) Stinziano and Louise Aimola.

From what I've found on Ancestry.com, Louis (Luigi) Stinziano was born to parents Philip Stinziano and Catherine Dinio, and Louise Aimola was born to parents Tommaso Aimola and Anna Aimola.

Would love to hear more if anyone has further information!

Thanks :)
