translation please!

Post by bkworm10 »

Thanks to Livio, I think I figured out this document is my g-g-grandmother's grandfather's death certificate. If I can read it correctly, I think it's the death certificate of Francesco Filippo, son of Domenico (deceased) and Francesca Piliero (deceased). If this is the case, I just back two more generations (and a new surname) just from my g-g-grandmother's first marriage! Wow! Anyway, if anyone can assist in this document, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks Livio - does it give his age and are the other people listed witnesses to his death? Any other important information?

Francesco was 50 when he died.
The people that reported the death were: Domenico Antonio Sambogna, 60, woodworker and Andrea Carabona, 50, farmer (massaro).
