Post by ItalianbellaSA »

Hi - It'a me again!

This is a document from my father's side of the family. Francesco Visaggio was my grandfather. He was from Molfetta. Can I please have someone try to translate this document.

This was prepared for him in 1951 certifying that Francesco Visaggio, son of Andrea (Visaggio) and Maria Tutrana (sp?) was born in Molfetta on Jan. 1, 1885.

Thank you very much for your time and assistance! I appreciate your help.
It is hoped that the research I am doing helps to discover, preserve and celebrate my family history.

this is a birth certificate as opposed to an "estratto" that would contain all the info recorded with the birth act such as place of birth, age and occupation of parents, marriage and death annotations

The certificate was issued in order to get the pension.

Mother's name is Maria Introna
