I have LoIacono's in my Sicilian family tree and I'm just looking for possible connections. I'm not done with my research on my LoIacono line but here's alittle if the details I have on the oldest ancestors.
I'm pretty sure my LoIacono's came from Santa Margherita di Belice and some eventually ended up in Contessa Entellina and then some came th the US.
Giachino(or Gioachina) LoIacono born about 1794/d.o.d UKN, parents UKN. He married Francesca Bilello born about 1795, died Jan 10, 1863 Contessa Entellina, parents:Giacomo Bilello & Anna Camprisciano. They had 11 children and several died young.
