Looking for any info on the name-Marconi

Post by bee87124 »

I need help locating my great grandfathers history. His name was Michael Marconi. He married a woman by the name of Catherine. They had 4 children, Jerry, Salvatore, Joseph, and Angeline. They were in Brooklyn, NY. They showed up on a 1930 census. I believe Michael and Catherine were born and married in Italy. Jerry, Sal, and Joseph were also born in Itlay. Angeline was born in the states. I have been having trouble finding anything else besides what I have listed. Can anyone please help?
Thanks

Name:   Micheal Marconi
Age:   45
Estimated birth year:   abt 1885
Birthplace:   Italy
Relation to head-of-house:   Head
Spouse's Name:   Catherine Marconi
Race:   White
Home in 1930:   Brooklyn, Kings, New York

Image source:   Year: 1930; Census Place: Brooklyn, Kings, New York; Roll: 1517; Page: 19A; Enumeration District: 166; Image: 953.0.

Year of immigration - 1895 for both?? We would have to check the other census records... They couldn't have been married in Italy according to this census record.

Hope this helps for now...

I just wanted to say thank you. I have seen this census before but I guess I couldnt read it well enough. Now that I have seen it again with your help, I have seen things a little more clear now. I have been using the wrong years. Thank you so much.
If I hit another brick wall I will post again.
Thanks again.
