Translation help needed

Post by leryan »

I'm not sure what type of record this is so I don't know what to look for. It was some sort of supplemental and not in a section with death or birth records. I am trying to find any information on Paolo Campagnano and his family.

It's a birth act.

On May 30, 1874 Giovanni Campagnano 32yo, farm manager, son of Lorenzo and of Celeste Aldi, presented to the town hall a baby male and declared that the baby was born on the 29th of May to his legitimate wife Stefania Aldi, 21yo, daughter of Giovanni and of Mariantonia Campagnano (daughter of the deceased Mattia).

Thank you very much. Unfortunately this wouldn't be the right Paolo Campagnano for my family. There are so many records with the same name I am having trouble locating the right ancestor. Back to the microfilm.
