Hi cdFellini,

To jumpstart your Coat of Arms research, maybe you could research the Bovolone, Verona area where Celidia came from...

But, more time and research is needed to find Louis Felini's parents.

Do you have their obituaries? There may be alot of useful information there.
We will keep you updated...

To summarize what we have so far:

Jacqueline Fellini, birth abt. 1929, married name, Campen.
Donald Fellini, birth abt. 1935, married to Carol Decarle.
Louis Fellini, birth abt. ?

Parents are:

Louis Fellini, birth abt. 1903 in US, Parents unknown, siblings unknown.

Celide Fellini, birth abt. 1903 in Italy. Parents are Giuseppe age 44 and Diletta Quinto age 37. immigration of 5-10-1910 from Bovolone, Verona, Italy with sisters Emma 14, Argia 12, Carina 10, Giuseppina 3.
Giuseppe was joining brother Giovanni, and named a sister Angela as living in Italy.

Louis and Celide were married abt. 1928.

Census info was pulled from Queens, New York, 1930.

If ssdi is correct, Louis died in 1993 and Celide in 1992, both Massachusettes.

Can you provide any of the following:
The name of Louis parents?
The names of Louis siblings?

ssdi is correct. Louis' parents were Francesco Fellini (1870-1948) and Clotilde Parmegiani (1882-1954). His brothers were Albert Alfred and Silvio. Im not positive as to whether or not Alfred or Albert were really his brothers but I know Silvio was. If they're not his brothers, than they are cousins. I believe Clotilde had siblings named Frank and Marie. They were supposedly twins. Is there any other information that is needed? I will try to find it if possible. Thank you so much for all of the work you've all done. This has really helped a lot, beyond just school projects. This is the stuff i want my children and even grandchildren to know.

wouldn't you know it... the Ellis Island link isn't linking...

First Name: Francesco

Date of Arrival: January 20, 1896
Age at Arrival:  26y    Gender:  M    Marital Status:
Ship of Travel: La Bretagne

This passenger's birthdate is 1870....

Ellis Island is working again.

Francesco Fellini: But this is another mis-linked manifest.

Yes! That is the page it takes me to... most of those boat records are for early January 1896.... quite the mislink....

Debbie, did you have problems with Ellis Island tonight too?

cdfellini, I am trying to link on to an alternate data base which isn't linking either...

We'll get there... mfjp

I like that...

And with my youngest... I told him stories about my ancestors travels... and he thought they were just stories... I never told him how he was related to us until later. He just couldn't understand what a Great great grandfather was... now he asks for more "geography stories...." and I usually correct him... you mean "genealogy stories..." I made the other child do a project on his G2grandfather... and same with the other.... they had no choice... but did hear them say "WOW!!" once they saw all the ship records and other documents...

Finally!

cdfellini, it doesn't mention what town he is from... but please take a look at the other passenger names - maybe he travelled with a relative... and with this we could look for common Italian town...

Also note the name "QUENDOZ" on line 141... saw this name mentioned earlier on... and a Clotilde with a different surname...gotta run...

VaDeb,
The ssdi info helped ALOT...........narrowed down the dates and ages......
I am always amazed at what a group effort can accomplish...........
now if we can find Clotilde Parmegiani........the puzzle is complete!!!!!

8O :!: OK 1895 it is...

Trying something new here...

http://img258.echo.cx/img258/4419/cdfamily0jz.jpg

We still need to find another manifest.... :P ...

Clotilde or siblings manifest...

And need to find out where Clotilde and Frank were born...

Maybe Clotilde's unconfirmed siblings (Maria and Frank Parmegiani) could provide clues..

Maybe Frank's unconfirmed siblings (Albert and Alfred... cousins??), and Silvio Fellini (certain) can provide clues if we look for manifests... census etc...
