I know my bronx county birth certificate needs the exemplification for dual citizenship but does a birth certificate from westchester county also need the exemplification or is something else required similar to the exemplification? My appointment is early august.

My understanding is that only birth certificates issued from NYC need a letter of exemplification. Therefore, the birth certificate from Weschester County will not need such a letter. Of course, they will both still need apostilles.
