Needing Help With Obituary

I need some help plz. I am looking for an obituary for a Vincent D'Orazio. I believe that he was living in Struthers, Ohio Mahoning County I don't have a death date for him at the time he had passed away also one for his wife Theresa Chiaro D'Orazio. Theresa died on January 2, 2001. Any help wld be greatly appreciated.

Hi there!

I was able to find a Vincent D'Orazio in Ohio court systems for you.

He died 03/09/1989

What I did was I googled the Mahoning County Probate Courts (each county in the US has a Clerk of Courts/ Probate Courts) that is visible to the public. Then I clicked on this link:

There, I clicked on Public Access and typed in Theresa D'Orazio and hit search. Low and behold a record for her being read the estate of Vincent D'Orazio. Here is the link if you get lost:

Aw you're welcome. It's hard to find obituaries but I'm on the lookout. I would start with the town where they're from and see what newspapers are there and then go on their website.

I have tried to get information also on Ancestry but don't have a membership right now. Is there anyway possible to find out what his daughter's married name is?

Ii actually had spoke to her a few yrs back but lost her name and address and telephone number her first name is Joanne I believe thank-you so very much

I am not sure someone in her family who is older told me that her husband passed away and they weren't sure if she remarried but he is an older gentleman who didn't remember much

Knowing the date of death and place of residence, try contacting the research desk at the nearest public library and request a search of newspaper archival copies. I managed to obtain obituaries of all four of my grandparents in this manner.
