Hello and welcome Javier!
Do you know what sort of record you found on ancestry? I did a search for Lucas Briganti but did not see any records. If you have any dates, time frames, or next of kin and their dates of birth or death it would be helpful in assisting you.

If we might qualify...javiervistin wrote: ... he went to Ecuador in the middle of XIX century.
In the US, when we speak of the 19th century, we mean the years between 1800 and 1899 (some would say between 1801 and 1900). So, "the middle of XIX century" would be about 1850.

Re: Bregante / Briganti in Ecuador
If that manifest is your Lucas he was traveling with 40 yr old Guilius Briganti, a dry goods merchant, who was born in Italy and was married. Lucas was 3 yrs old and they were leaving behind Mr Silvio Briganti in Guatamala City, Guatamala. It notes their final destination as Naples, Italy so it appears they planned on going back to Guilius' home country.

Re: Bregante / Briganti in Ecuador
Thanks for your help.
But this Lucas Briganti who arrives to New Orleans in 1910 is not the father of my GGGMother, because she born in 1868.
If my Lucas had a daughter in 1868 he had ¿ 20-30 ys old ? when it happens.
I only know that he is from Genoa, Italy and He was in Ecuador when my GGGmother was born.

Had you luck finding new traces in Ecuador (Baptism, marriage or death record) for Luca?
