Need help with an Italian document

Post by dmurphy1940 »

I have received a document and I am not sure if it has any family information on it. I have tried to attach it to this post with no luck. If anyone can help with this, I can email it.
Thank you.

Peter, the heading says:

Commune di acquasanta terme.

Marty, I will attempt to try that.

Dolores there is an excellent book which you canbuy/borrow Italian Records by Trafford Cole which will have standardized copies of municipal records and documents. The book will make an excellent additon to your library and answer your above inquiry.=Peter=

Dolores,
I have converted the 2 pages of the PDF document you sent me in the following 2 images.
The document contains some historical news about the town of Acquasanta Terme that was already famous in the year 50 bc for its thermal baths...

A full translation would require some time...

No problem, it probably will not help me in locating any ancestors. It was given to me by my niece who received it a few years ago, and we had no idea what it might be.............
Thank you for your willingness to help.
