How do you find family in Italy that you've never even known about? I know they are there because my uncle was going to take my dad when I was younger but then my uncle died. Nobody in my family knows anything about them. They just know that we have family there.
I would appreciate the help.
Thank you,
Kaitlin Peperato

If you know the names of any other Aunts and Uncles, then write to the town for their birth records. In the margin should be details of who and when they married. You will need this more for the Aunts, to know the surnames of any children they may have had.
Then search www.paginebianche.it (Italian white pages) for people with these surnames. Either write or phone them to see if they are related.

Thank you and my family is the only family in the world with my last name so that shouldn't be so hard! I do appreciate it
