Gabriel Pacione + Ida Pacione ( Bellarosa)

Post by Nicolina922 »

I am planning on creating a book on the ancestry of my grandmother, Flora D'Agata. However, I am having trouble finding details of her parents lives. I know that Gabriel was born around 1894 in Italy and died around 1980. His partner but never his wife was my grandmother's mother, Ida Bellarosa. She lived 1889-1973. I know that they emigrated to the USA -->Canada-->Baltimore-->Massachusetts. I mainly would like to know who their siblings/parents were. Thanks for the help!

Welcome to the Forum :D !
We would be happy to help.
Do you have any US records for Gabriel Pacione and Ida Bellarosa? Many US and Canadian records can contain clues to their town(s) of origin in Italy.
Since Italian records are kept at the comune (town) level, you would need to know where they were from to find records for their parents and siblings (unless they also emigrated to the US)

I believe they are from Ofena, Italy. I found the ship manifest from Gabriel's trip to the U.S. from Italy. I then found his border crossing document coming from Canada back into the U.S.
