TOCE of Corleto Perticara

Post by Wartuso »

Hello,

I am looking for my family in Corleto Perticara.

According to my research from ancestry and microfilms, I don't follow the same line as some people have posted in the forums, even though we share a name in the same city at the same time we are researching!

This is my line:
Paolo TOCCI (1877 Craco, Matera, Italy - 1963 NYC)
Domenico Antonio TOCE (1848 Corleto Perticara - death unknown)
Paolo Nicola TOCE (1810 Corleto Perticara - death unknown)
Domenico Maria TOCE (ca. 1785 Corleto Perticara - death unknown)

I can't seem to get further than that, or provide more fulfilling info of those listed. I was wondering if maybe one of these gentlemen is a cousin or perhaps brother of the PRIORE family that has a lot of genealogy information available on the web? They must be connected somehow.

Thank you for taking the time to read!

All the best,
Billy

Hi, Billy.

FYI, I traced one line of my husband Nick Cafarelli's family to Craco--the Mastronardis. I'm continuing to research Mastronardis (and related families) and Sarubbis in Craco, the latter to see how they're connected with the Stigliano and Accettura Sarubbis, who are also in my husband's ancestry.

I have images of many records from Craco, but at this point, they are mostly from the early-mid 1800s. I also have images of records from the Craco Society and am contributing what I photograph to the Society, as well.

If I can be of any help to you in looking for records as I continue my research on Craco, let me know. Happy hunting!
