help with translation

Post by roobyred »

Is there someone who could help translate my post card?
Received this from Montedoro Sicily where I have dual citizenship. I understand the first paragraph but that's it.
Grazie!

Well, they tell you that you can vote if you have the tessera elettorale. If you don't have it you can go to the comune, Ufficio elettorale
(This is not written on the postcard, but when you have it you go to the polling station with the tessera and your passport, you vote and the clerk puts a stamp on the tessera, that you must keep for future elections)

Railroads in Italy (and perhaps also airlines and bus lines but I don't know for sure) have special discounts for people who travel for the elections. For this you must present the tessera, your passport and this postcard. For the return trip you must also show at the station that the tessera has been stamped

Ciao
