Really wish I had More info. Well more dated info.
My grandparents both passed away real young , I never bet either. Louis DiMattia, and his wife Irene (maiden name was cianni.

Let me dig up more info from my mom and aunt so I can get it exact.

I know this thread is really old but if you would, please forward me any information you may have found. Dominick Dimattia is my Father, Henry Dimattia was my Grandfather, Dominic (Domenico) Dimattia was my Great Grandfather and Joe Dimattia was my Great Great Grandfather. I am trying to get any and all information on Joe and anyone else you might have related to him.Hoping this thread is still active. Thanks!

Hi Rob,
Not sure if you still go on here to get information, as it has been a long time since your post. Kind of neat to discover new family members :)

My name is Andrea (Dimattia) Cothern. My husband has been doing some genealogy on my side and has a lot of information he can share with you.

My grandfather is Vincent Samuel Dimattia, brother to Dominick, son to Joseph Dimattia.
Joseph was my paternal great-grandfather, Dominick my great-uncle.
Joe and Ida had 5 sons and 2 daughters --- Joe, Henry, Dominick, Michael, Vincent (not in that order)--- Josephine (we called her Aunt Feenie) and (??)
Vincent made a life in Baton Rouge, LA, married to Ada Campanella.

Hope to hear from you soon,
Andrea

I posted it wrong actually Henry DiMattia was my *great grandfather. Sorry about that. Henry Ann DiMattia (my grandmother) was his daughter. It's kind of hard to get this all straight! The user Broom730 and I are definitely related closely and may have even met when I was a child! I used to go to family holiday events at Dominick DiMattia's house! This was is the late 1980's/early 1990's though! So it appears Broom730 posted above in this thread "Dominick Dimattia is my Father, Henry Dimattia was my Grandfather, Dominic (Domenico) Dimattia was my Great Grandfather and Joe Dimattia was my Great Great Grandfather." So I believe that would be a great place for me to do some research! Joe DiMattia being the eldest. Probably making Joe my great great great grandfather, if I have that right!?
