One of Francesco's brothers had a son, who was a Counsel General. Counsel General has a son Eduardo, who was killed in a motorcycle accident. The Counsel General's wife was from Sicily.

Francesco's parents built their home. It was located on Valparaiso across the street and facing the yacht club.

Cousin Guiseppe "Pepo" had a daughter, Josephina "Pina" who was in boarding school. Pepo and wife also had another daughter, Albena and 3 boys.

And nobody in my family has ever heard of John Baptiste Lucchetti, who lived in California and was the brother of Francesco. Weird.

Where Eduardo died? Eduardo's father was Counsul of Italy in which country?

Don't understand this... Francesco's Lucchetti's parents were living in Italy..

My great aunt said that Eduardo came to visit in the U.S. once, and stayed with her at her home. He was young and very handsome. My mother said that Eduardo died in a motorcycle accident. I am presuming it happened in Italy, because he returned to Italy after his visit here.

My aunt only said that Eduardo's father was a "counsel general". I have no further information about him.

The house my aunt is referring to is in Chiavari. I believe she is referring to Corso Valparaiso. When she visited approximately 10 years ago, she stayed there. A cousin was still living there. The house had been divided into 4 apartments.

My aunt also visited Luigi Lucchetti's. She said they are cousins, however, that connection is not known.

You've helped me so much Laura, please don't feel like you have to continue with my tree.

Claudia,

I believe your great aunt is talking about a younger generation then the Lucchettis (Francesco, Domenico, Carlo .. ) children...

Can you calculate if the Edoardo who visited her may have been the Edoardo I found who was born on 1874 and died on 1963?

This is just because I found that Edoardo Lucchetti (1874-1963) had for an example a son born on 1904 named Lucchetti Carlo Nicola Emanuele who married a lady named Rosa Bonaccorso in Rome on 1959:

Birth act number 298 - Year 1904

Lucchetti Carlo Nicola Emanuele was born in Chiavari on 25 december 1904 :!: at the address Corso al Cantiere number 19 (today this street doens't exist maybe Corso Valparaiso today?) he was son of Lucchetti Edoardo Luigi age 30, lawyer, son of the living Carlo, and of his wife Sanguineti Luigia Livia, proprietor.
