I\'m trying to confirm the existing of:
 
 <UL>San martino del monte bavaggi
 
 cichero
 
 Celesia</UL>
 
 all believed to be in Genova.

There is only Celesia in postal code 16040 in Genoa Province. The remaining two do not appear to exist in that province. Peter

I\'ve been doing some research on the internet and the place name San Marino seems to come up quite often in conjunction with Genova.
 
 The sons, grandsons and grandaughter of Domenico have the name Martin in reference to where he was from, my Mother has always assumed that it was San Martino. Could it be that it is San Marino and not San Martino. My Mother has also mentioned the Po Valley.

Yes it could be but you have to know the correct surname. Try using San Marino with the www.paginebianche.it website and put it in the third line along with the surname(s) in the dfirst line. Peter

I\'ve been doing more research, there seems to be a street called Via Bavaggi in Carasco (sp?) Genoa.
