Well... I'm outa here... my coffee maker broke... out to get a new one...

Should be an interesting evening... will see what I can find later...

Quite the interesting family though... but tragic... Fanny named her 2 daughters after close family members who both lost their lives at a young age...

Nice to hear from you...

Name: Henry Guile Age in 1910: 32 Estimated birth year: abt 1878 Home in 1910: Adams Twp, Houghton, Michigan Race: White Gender: Male Series: T624 Roll: 646 Part: Page: 158A Year: 1910

We have to careful here... the name Henry GUILE is a legit name and can be found throughout Michigan...

The Henry Guile (should be Giuli) mentioned in this 1910 census, is Italian... luckily... and could have been mistranscribed.... :?

This is the census record wldspirit was talking about earlier on...

That other Henry you found looks interesting too... did go to that site... LDS, and found that this Beppi's mother's surname also exists in Lucca... :P

My 3ªgrandmother called Benvenutta Pellegrini... Would you have some information to add me?

Benvenutta Pellegrini was married Luigi Galaggi. They had children (That I have knowledge: Guido Galaggi, and, "Peppino" Galaggi...) "Peppino" married Celestina and Guido married Giuseppina Gambini.

Peppino means Giuseppe.

No I am sorry but I don't. I am looking for Luigi Pellegrini that lived in PA with wife Ida. An ancestor of mine was listed as going to her uncle Luigi Pellegrini when she came to America.
Sorry

Thanks Maria.
Thought maybe Albert lived on Irvington but he lived at the Mitchell address in 1930.
Looking for address: 19209 Irvington, Detroit, Wayne Co, MI. Would like to know who lived at that address in Jan 1935.
This is the address listed on Charles Lombardini death certificate.
Thanks to all.

Census records for 1940 won't be available for a number of years from now...

Not sure how to find out who lived at 19209 Irvington, Detroit, Wayne Co, MI. in Jan. 1935....

Ancestry. com has a city directory feature.. but for certain years and for certain areas... for Detroit Michigan - only the 1890 directory comes up...

If anyone knows, please suggest... how does one find out who lived at 19209 Irvington, Detroit, Wayne Co, MI. in 1935? House was built in 1926.

Hi Mfjp,

You can go to the Main Library as well as the Historical Society to look up City Directories which could help you find out where your ancestors lived.

You can go to the City Archives to go look at deed and land records.

There is also something called the Fire Insurance Maps but I have to double check my source notes on this one for the correct name. These were maps of all the streets to show you how they were laid out and there is other information on them.

I'll get back to you on the fire maps, however, I hope the rest helps.
