death cert. question

Post by carchidi »

On a death record I have it says "e morte Giovanni Carchidi di minuti quindici". Does that mean he died in the first 15 minutes?

I have another that says "e morte Marianna Carchidi di mesi trenta". Does this mean she died in the first thirty days?

thnaks for any assistance.

If you post the records I could be more precise.
I believe that Giovanni died 15 minutes after his birth and Marianna died when she was 2 years and a half old (30 months)

How do I post them and to where? Do I have to make a new topic?

thanks,

You don't need to make a new topic. Pictures can be uploaded as attachements to the topic:

I confirm what I said in my previous post:
Giovanni Carchidi, son of Saverio, a cab driver, and of Mariangiola Siciliano, a spinne, died on 1895, Oct 24, 15 minutes after his birth
Marianna Carchidi, same parents, died on 1895, May 6, when she was 2 years and a half old (30 months)

Thanks once again for helping me out with the translation. I was hoping you were wrong about the 30 months, that puts Marianna's birth abt December 1892. Saverio and Mariangela were married in October of 1883, so something is not right and I have to find it.
