I was planning on requesting a "Certificato di Stato di Famigilia Originario" from Schio, Vincenza,
Veneto, Italy.

If you look at this link, can I request it internationally? Will they accept a request from me since I am in the US?

I cannot request LDS films since the timeframe my great-great-grandparents were born, there seems to be no microfiche available. I was hoping by requesting the "Status of the Family" form, this would give me the information I am seeking.

Just send the filled out the form for your Certificato di Stato di Famigilia Originario request send a photo ID and you know they charge per name. They will contact you if there is any problems

You know this info about the process
This request will be processed only if the whole original family has been resident in Schio, otherwise the applicant should contact the municipality in which the family said was formed.

The cost of the service is indicated above the following:
- € 2.58 per name for the certificate issued on plain paper
- € 5.16 per name for the certificate in legal paper and stamp.

LENGTH OF SERVICE DELIVERY
The certificate will be issued, depending on the complexity of archival research, within 30 days from the date of the request.
Accordingly, we request users to not fix the signing of documents relating to these certifications at notaries, banks, etc.. first of said 30 days
