Need Latin Translation

Giovanni Buono was born in 1801. Can you please tell me the month and day?
It looks like May or March 17, but I am no expert.

Giovanni Buono, son of Antonio and Serafina Micieli, born in San Lucido on 17 Jan 1801, was baptized the day after in the St. John the Baptist Church.
