Re: Passport for CIAMPI, Nunziante
Even without a spinster Aunt,
I am lucky enough to have the passport for one of my GGFs, for his voyage in 1900. It would be great to get the passports for my GF and GM as well, so maybe the Interior Ministry will cooperate.
Of course I realize, that it may be the case that these records are preserved but still unavailable.

The Italian Embassy at Washington DC website has a listing of all consulates in the US with addresses and contract info.

Carmine, I did write to the Consule General d'Italia Philadelphia and they were very nice to answer me, however, "the archives we keep in this office do not go back that far in time". I have not given up but I do not know where else to turn as I have a few things out there but they are not panning out.............
