Hi Dennis! Did Pasquale and Mariantonia's parents travel to the USA as well? Where did they settle in the USA?

What town was Mariantonia from? Do you know if they married in Italy or the USA?

About Carmine Sacco, where in the USA did he settle? Where married etc...

Lots of help here for you at this forum...

mfjp

further...

Would this be your Carmine? If so, he would be joining his brother Antonio,
36 Prince St., Boston, Mass. Looks like Carmine was married in Italy.

Thanks for the follow up.
Mariantonia, I think was born in Mirabella Eclano. She never left Italy.
Pasquale did come to the US 3 times 1885?, 1898, 1905 and Settled in Seattle, WA.

They married in Mirabella May 25, 1901. I don't know the exact date of her birth or death (lived 1881-1947). I only have her parents names Giuseppe Vacca & Annamaria Faretra.

RE: Carmine Sacco. You do have the correct Ellis Island record, except I have his birth as Nov. 28,1872 from Montemiletto, Italy. He married Albina Colella born Oct 12,1875. They also settled in Seattle, WA USA about 1900. I found their records from Ellis Island also, but I don't know Carmine parents.

This is great info thanks very much.

There is also another Sacco living with Antonio, a much younger brother - James who immigrated in 1906... a manifest does exist for a Vincenzo Sacco... but the quality is poor... Also, more paesano’s on this census....

If Carmines parents came over to the USA there may records, if not.. . getting Carmines death record would probably confirm who his parents were.

You probably have enough information to start researching from Family History film... the years for the civil documents are great - 1809-1899.
ricbru provided links above.

Were you able to find other census records? Are you missing any?

Hello Sergio,

I'm not familiar with Marciano, but believe there are a lot of D'Ambrosio's still in Mirabella. I afraid I don't have any local contacts though.

My great-great-grandfather's name was Antonio Sacco, born 1850 in Montemiletto. He and his wife Felicia (Capone) had seven children: Ciriaco, Giuseppe, Angelina (Palumbo), Philomena (Messere), Luigi, and Carmine. I have a lot of info about all the children except Luigi and Carmine. I was hoping this Carmine was the same one you were looking for he got married in 1881, so it's highly doubtful they were the same person. Perhaps my g-g-grandfather is an uncle of your Carmine. Like to hear if there's any connection

Thanks for the inquiry, there may be a link between our families.
Carmine Sacco born 1872 was my great-great grandfather.

His parents were Giovanni Sacco and Celeste Sacco. I know the names of three of their children: Carmine, Antonio and Vincenzo. I'm afraid that's all I know for that generation.

Carmine Sacco and Albina Colella had 8 children that all lived in Seattle WA, USA.

Does this help?

Do you know anything about Giovanni and Celeste, perhaps birth/death dates or siblings' names? Either my g-g-grandfather Antonio is Giovanni's brother or first cousin. Since they both grew up in Montemiletto, they must be related.
