You are very welcome, Dolores.

Carmine Donnarumma's occupation has me stumped. I'll look at it again later, with crisp, clear eyes :)

Back to the drawing board.....I think Maria Rosa Ciriello may have been married to Giovanni Giuseppe Capobianco on 16 May 1908.

Yes, I believe you are correct. Here's Maria Rosa's marriage record to Giovanni Giuseppe in 1908, which you have posted earlier. The maths and parents stack up. I "guess" Filippantonio must have died? Interesting that it doesn't seem to mention that Maria Rosa was a widow in this 1908 marriage record. It may do so in the Banns though. I need to get ready for work shortly but could look again later.

Marriage Record #11: Giovanni Giuseppe Capobianco with Maria Rosa Ciriello
16 May 1908, 7:20 AM, Frigento

Groom:
Giovanni Giuseppe Capobianco, 44, Colono (farmer) born and residing Frigento, son of deceased Carmine residing in Frigento when living, and Mariantonia Stanco, housewife, residing in Frigento;
AND
Bride:  Maria Rosa Ciriello, 25, contadina, born and residing in Frigento; daughter of Angelo, contadino, residing in Frigento, and of Maria Giuseppa Solomita, peasant farmer residing in Frigento.

Banns were posted on 19 and 26 of the preceding January.

That's what I thought too, Angela; why was she not listed as a widow? I had an eye procedure done this morning so I am not perusing the records so much........:)

You take care Dolores, and rest your eyes. I'm happy to look into it later, and see what the banns say. Have a lovely rest of the day.

Marriage Bann No 2: Giovanni Giuseppe Capobianco and Maria Rosa Ciriello

Here's the 1908 marriage bann for Giovanni Giuseppe Capobianco and Maria Rosa Ciriello, and yes Filippantonio Famiglietti did die. At the bottom I am understanding that it says that Filippo, husband of Maria Rosa Ciriello died in America “da oltre tre anni” more than three years.

The banns basically give the same information except that it notes Mariantonia Stanco down as contadina. It also gives Angelo Ciriello's age, which is 55.

Hope you're doing well, Dolores.
