1. birth certificates (for my husbands parents and their parents )
2. marriage certificates
3. the" Optani " .. the option to retain Italian citizenship even tho classed as Yugoslavian on their refugee status
4. military service records
etc etc
my in laws were from Paola and became displaced persons after the war coming to Australia in 1951
we are trying to follow up getting dual citizenship .
all family requirements ,dates of travel ,marriages , births etc prove we are eligble to apply .
we need to get these documents as my father in law Cleaned house and threw all records away .
if you can help i will post their names and birth dates on here ..
if i can establish full names and communes/provinces etc i can then contact the right offices to get copies of the documents from the correct archives
