Hello,
I am looking for help with translating the attached birth record. I believe this to be my grandmother's sister. Her name was Maria Fiata and her parents were Guisepphina D'Amato and Gioacchino Fiata. Her entry is the second one down on the left side of the page and it carries over to the second page (top right) I am not able to determine her actual birth date and I am not sure what it written on the top right of the page.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Happy New Year

Re: Need Help With Translation
Maria Gaetana Fiata
Born April 10 1908 daughter of Gioacchino Fiata and Giuseppa D’Amato. Gioacchino was 28 at the time of the declaration
Birth declared June 14 1909. The late declaration was authorized by the Tribunale (law court) of Santa Maria Capua Vetere.
The previous record, registered the same day , is also a late declaration of birth for a child born March 19 1908, named Giuseppe Fiata son of Domenico

Hi Paola!
I wanted to thank you for your help..........It is greatly appreciated.
This information actually creates another mystery. I have found a record of birth for her in Boston, MA as well. Perhaps that is the reason for the late registration? I know my great-grandmother went back to Italy for a period of time because she was homesick. Does the record indicate where she was born?
Many thanks to you again
