Groom: Calo' Lorenzo, 25 yo, contadino, born and residing Frigento, son of Carmine, and Teresa Cerullo, both residing Frigento.

Bride: Loreta Cocchiola, 24 yo, contadina, born and residing Frigento, daughter of Rocco and Felicita Martone, both residing Frigento.

Witnesses: Nicola Maria Pelosi, 64 yo, possidente and Nunzio Cocchiola, 47 yo, possidente (land owner) both residing Frigento.

Marriage Banns were posted on 7 March and 14 March 1875.

Both bride and groom were illiterate so did not sign.

Here is their Marriage Bann dated 7 March 1875, 9.17 am:

Basically it has the same information as the Marriage Act. The added info is that it sites Lorenzo's parents occupations, as contadini. Carmine is aged 50 years.

Loreta's parents are also contadini, and her father Rocco, is aged 66.

Witnesses are Carmine Pelosi, 28 yo, and Nunzio Cocchiola, 47 yo, both landowners (possidente) living in the town.

Documents presented of course were the birth acts of bride and groom.
