Entering individuals in a tree
Because of language and alphabet differences between church records and civil records many names don't record the same in Lantin and Italian. Or in the case of older records when civil records aren't available, there is only Latin. Joanny/Joanna or Xaviero for examples. I guess I'm looking for concensus on protocol genealogy-wise. Do I give them all Italian spellings for consistency? Or do I record the older Latin names as they are recorded?
