Thanks Angela! If you don't mind could you translate the record for me? I am looking for a Giuseppe married to a Margarita and Im guessing he would have been born around the 1750s? There grandchild was born 1794.

This one was 42 so circa 1776. His mother was Annasaveria. No wife is mentioned. Do you still need it translated.

Jamie, I've gone through the death records starting at 1810 through 1828 looking for Giuseppe and couldn't see anything there, apart from the ones you have already found. There were some years that didn't have indices so I looked through the records, there were not many per year. There are four years missing of course, so maybe he died then. I need to go out now so you can continue on, depending on how late it is there. I'll have another quick check later when I return.

1811 Death Record No 73: Archangelo Tassone, son of “deceased” Giuseppe Tassone, and Margarita (surname not given). http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... ewsIndex=0

This 1811 death record tells us that Giuseppe Tassone was deceased so we can stop looking for his death record. What I suggest you do is look for marriage records in the town of Pianella, of his four grandchildren: Sabatino, Francesco, Marianna and Camillo who are mentioned in Arcangelo's death record. Hopefully you may find a death extract for Giuseppe amongst any respective allegati?
