Greetings, all, it has been some time since I was on these forums. I was wondering whether anyone had information about requesting Italian vital records online. I am looking for a marriage certificate from the Naples commune. Any help is greatly appreciated, as always!

WOW excellent information. Good to know Italy can provide accurate records as does the USA. Of course, however, if a record is not there, for example because someone is not married, it might not be of much use. But good luck finding your document, Mattera.

Thank you for the answers and direction! This forum is always such a help. I am actually looking for a very recent document. When I confirmed my Italian citizenship, I needed to register my own marriage in Italy. I now need to obtain my own marriage certificate from Italy in order to begin the process of obtaining my wife's citizenship. Although we were married 20+ years ago, the document was only registered in Italy about 3 or 4 years ago.

If it is available online, does anyone have a link? I am not sure where to search. Italian documents are fine, of course; I can hopefully manage to navigate the system despite the language.

good afternoon; I can not find the records of Biase Cernicchiaro Panza, born approx. In 1806 and Anna Felicia Lamarca Faraco born in 1803.
Can I get them? .My searches I do through FamilySearch, and I do not know if I do not do well, because I run out of resources.

The civil records only go back to 1809 before that you would have request church records from Santa Maria Maggiore

When I was in Maratea in Sept., I was told by the City Council that about 1840 there was an incentive and that's why they did not find any of the information that you then ¡¡¡ YES !!! She sent me about Carmen Cernicchiaro.

Ciao, this is my first time posting so I hope this is the correct place to do it.
I am trying to find Birth/Marriage/Death certificates for the Commune di San Pietro Avellana
in the Molise Region. It appears that this commune is now in the Isernia province but was in the
Campobasso province pre-1963. I am looking for documents pre-1963. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
