Need Help Tracing my Gulfo Ancestors

I would appreciate some help in tracing the lineage of my Gulfo ancestors in Italy. My great-great-grandfather was named Egidio Gulfo and I believe that he was born in Colobraro around 1874. Family tradition holds that he served in the Italian Army (probably in the 1890s) and attained the rank of sergeant. He later immigrated to the U.S. around 1900 and Anglicized his name to George Wolfe. He settled with his family in Niles, Ohio and died there on March 8, 1937. I believe that his parents may have been named Antonio Gulfo and Rosa Romano (and they may be been from Potenza), but I'm not totally sure. Any help would be much appreciated. I would also be interested to see if I can somehow track down his military records - thanks!
