Hello, I am married for over 10 years and I’ve attained my Italian citizenship by Jus Sanguinis a year ago.
Have said that, my questions are:
1) Is my marriage automatically registered in the Comune during the citizenship process or Do I have to specifically request that? I intend to request them for the ‘Estratto Per Riassunto Dell'atto Di Matrimonio’.
2) Do I have to register my wife to AIRE as well?
3) My wife intends to request her Italian citizenship as well. Her grandfather was born in Italy and she can easily get all the paperwork… or she could do so by Naturalization through our Marriage. Is there any advantage or disavantage in either one? If so, what would that be and what would you recommend.
