Wow! Great find!
I've made a start on the first page.
That's all for now. (There should be another page with the first three documents of the allegati listed on it.)

Thank you Angela so much! I was hoping you would see this document since you told me about it a while back. Thank you so much! I was able to find it at my LDS center! I'm still trying to find out if Ippolita's family is from Spain. I've eliminated Ippolita and now I want to see where her father was born.
Here is another document that was with the first three. I hope this is the right one.

now that I look at that last page I think it says
#1 & 2- the birth records for the bride and groom???
#3- something about the family. I also see something about March in it. I hope this is about the death dates of the bride's parents.

No, unfortunately there are no death records mentioned so that's disappointing. It says that banns were posted in Santa Ninfa on 31 March 1839, and I had look through the banns but I didn't see anything there. Not sure whether it would give that much more info anyway but thought I'd give it a try. There doesn't seem to be anything else mentioned on the marriage record that you don't already know.

that is so disappointing!!! Rats! Where did you find those Santa Ninfa banns? on the Antenati site? I was wondering if I should rent the alligati anyway from the Later Day Saints. I see that they have that year available. Thank you again Angela for ALL of your help!!! Suzanne

Re: Marriage of Mariano De Stefano and Ippolita Perez
You are very welcome, Suzanne. Yes, it is disappointing. I'm sorry that we haven't got any further on this, although finding the marriage record is a fantastic find. Well done.
Here are are the 1939 banns in Santa Ninfa: http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... ioni/1839/
Maybe take another look, in case I missed them. I was working on a few projects yesterday and was quite tired so my eyes may have been playing tricks on me.
Yes, if you don't already have Mariano and Ippolita's birth records, I would definitely order that film.
