marriage notation in margin of birth record

Below is a link to Francesco Antonio Mancini's birth record. In the margin is a notation of when he married. I THINK the date is 7 Nov 1906 and his spouse is Maria Carmela. Her last name is illegible to me.
Is there someone who could confirm my suspicions and help with Maria Carmela's surname? If I determine her surname, maybe I can also find their marriage banns. Ultimately I'm trying to find Francesco's death date which I believe is in NY.
