Re: Battisat and Montesanto
Here are the two birth records to start with. I haven't time at the moment to look at the Marriage Record. I think that it is probably easier if you just post each record separately (not in one post) and entitle them, for example: Birth Act No 41: Maria Luisa Montesano. Then we can just chip away at them
Birth Act No 41: Maria Luisa Montesano
Chiaromonte: 15 April 1882, 11.40 am
Maurizio Montesano, 50, landowner, living Chiaromonte, reported that at 10.17 am on 15 April 1882, in a house in Via Vittorio Emanuele, no number written, was born from Maria Emmanuela Allegreti, landowner, his wife, living with him, a baby girl who he presented and gave the name Maria Luisa.
Witnesses: Giuseppe Guerro, 67 Civile, and Giuseppe Vietri, 57, Civile (landowner)
Birth Act No 40: Filomena Maria Montesano
Chiaromonte: 16 April 1870, 4 pm
Signor Maurizio Montesano, son of Pietro, 39, landowner, who was born in Montemurro, and living Chiaromonte, presented a newborn baby girl, born yesterday (15 April 1870), from his wife living with him, Emmanuela Allegretti, daughter of the deceased Signor Giuseppe. The baby was born in their own home in Via Mercato, No 8, and given the name Filomena Maria.

Re: Battisat and Montesanto
Thank you Angela for coming to the rescue again.
I will certainly follow you suggestion regarding separate posts for each individual. I am going through the birth records for all the children with the last name of Montesano (or similar spelling). Posts I have viewed from various other websites makes me wonder if there were actually two couples in town since some show a completely different set of children born between 1864 and 1889.
If you have a better suggestion on how to resolve my confusion please let me know.

Happy to help.
