Angela,

The reason I asked about the second witness is that Pasquale is on my family tree but I have a range of birth years and no luck so far locating his birth record which may be before 1809 or I could be missing it when reading the indexes which are not alphabetized so I can’t cheat.

Thank you,
Karen

Gorgeous! Love it. :)

Okay, back to being serious. Did he marry? It looks like you have got allegati for the years 1831-1860 online. If he married/remarried within this timeframe and the allegati for that year are online, it will contain (an extract of) his birth record. Will keep hopeful for you re this.

Afterthought: Is it the one who married Polissena Ricciardi? Were there other born children before 1836?

Birth Extract Pasquale Raffaele Battista

Post by AngelaGrace56 »

Birth Extract: Pasquale Raffaele Battista
Born on 19 February 1807, legitimate son of Giovanni Battista and Catarina Rosato. http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... ewsIndex=0

Allegati for the Marriage of Pasquale Raffaele Battista and Polissena Ricciardi starts here: http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... 6.jpg.html

There may be other records contained in the allegati that you don't already have. Just post any other records contained in the allegati that you might like translated individually and some one will help.

Angela,

Thank you so much! I had forgotten to look at the processetti. Now I will go back and look for the processetti for others on my tree with missing information. Hopefully they will have copies of the actual document rather than hand written transcripts which are difficult for me to understand.

You are very welcome. Processetti/allegati can be a treasure chest of information. I'm glad you've got some good ones there. :)
