My Great-Uncle Lorenzo was a Lieutenant during WW2 and died fighting in Slovenia in 1943.
Attached are some telegrams that I'm sure make a lot of sense to someone who knows about these things!
I wondered where the best place to find out more about this particular campaign of WW2 would be. Can anyone tell me anything about his regiment or division? Is there somewhere in Italy I can speak to about getting these records maybe?
Any information is most welcome.

I don't think Lorenzo Oberti was in the 36th infantry regiment. That regiment was in Tunisia in may 1943 and was dissolved on the 13th of may when the italians had to retreat from there.
