Death No 4: Giuseppe Dileo
Palazzo Adriano: 12 January 1870
Appearing before the official were Antonino Maggiore, 41 yo, and Giuseppe Lorino, 43 yo, both Becchini (gravediggers) residing here. They reported that yesterday at 24.00 hours, in the paternal house, died Giuseppe Dileo, age 10 months, living here, son of Ciro (Dileo) and Anna Basta.

Angela,
Thank you for helping translate this death certificate. I thought the original date was 1872, because that is the year it shows in the actual register book. Below is the link. Do you have any idea why his date of death would be 1870, and not 1872? This really confuses me.

Yes, it is 1872. The two (due) is somewhat faded and I didn't initally see it. It's much clearer now that I know that it is there.Palazzo wrote: 29 Jul 2017, 22:07 Angela,
