Santo DiPalermo marriage

Post by cj11788 »

Hello,

Attached is the 1616 marriage for Santo DiPlaermo. He is from Marineo but what is written for his wife. Her name is Caterina Sammartino but what is written after terra. Is that the name of the town or does it mean something else. I've seen that on multiple marriages.

Thanks,

Chris

Also Caterina is from Marineo (dictae terrae, said land). The words after that refers to the usual 3 banns...
