Translation Assistance with Birth Record

Post by ItalianbellaSA »

Hi Everyone:

I could use a little assistance with this birth record. I have been able to translate most of it, but I am not sure if the baby is male or female. I am thinking it is a male because (lo stresso e nato da) if it were female there would be a's instead of o's.

Date of birth: November 25, 1833

Maestro Francesco Azzolin, age 60, living in Mistretta presented a baby born to Michaela Azzolino, age 33 and Vincenzo Insigna. Name of baby Michiele

Please let me know if I missed anything important and if this child was male or female.

Thank you,

Sue Antista
It is hoped that the research I am doing helps to discover, preserve and celebrate my family history.
