Confused, Need Translation Help

Post by Thayne »

We have come across the birth certificate of a relative and are confused because we believe it states that she passed away as an infant. But we have record of her growing up. Can you tell us if we are interpreting this correctly and that her parents are listed as Angelo Zagato and Maria Del-Passo? Thank you!

So this record is not saying that she died at birth?

I was confused because I thought it mentioned that she died ten lines down, this being a birth record. But, I don't speak Italian, so...

I believe "acts of birth and of death" are referring the state civil office not the individual. Are other entries by same individual written the same way?

Thank you for your help. No, the other entries are not written in this way. That is why we were wondering what was meant by it.
