Carmosina Andreiuolo - Laurino, Salerno

Post by todson »

Greetings,

Looking for some help with this 17 Aug 1830 Laurino death record for Carmosina Andreiuolo, daughter of Angelo Andreiuolo and Elena _______? I cannot read Carmosina's mother last name? Also a death age for Carmosina will be helpful too. Always grateful, Tod Davis

She was a 75 yo landowner, born in Piaggine Sottane, her mother was the deceased Elena Frasca. Her husband Giuseppe Ippoliti had already passed (fu).

Do you have Giuseppe Ippoliti's death record. Unfortunately it doesn't have the names of his parents – possibily they were unknown to the declarants. He died on 10 December 1828, in his home, and was aged 83 years, the legitimate husband of Signora Carmosina Andreiuolo. He was born in Laurino and his occupation was Pharmacist, as we already learned from his son Nicola's marriage record.

(The way it is written, to me, it seems more likely that the parents were unknown to the declarants. I don't think that he was a foundling but someone else might take a look to verify this.)

Thanks so much Angela! I did not have his death date. Must have missed it. I have been wheeling through the Laurino records after discovering several new grandparents. That was very kind of you to look..the info is good! It is very much appreciated. Tod

Here are some records which I found amongst the allegati for the marriage of Nicola Ippoliti and Elena de'Bellis (related thread: https://www.italiangenealogy.com/forum/ ... logy/42769) which you may not have:

Baptism Record Extract: Nicola Ippoliti, born 5 February 1782:
