Post by mtoth1982 »

Ciao a Tutti,

Can anyone help me translate the marriage number 6 on the following page?

http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... ewsIndex=0

it is between Saverio Infantino and Anna Cifone. I'm very interested in their parent's names and professions.

Grazie mille per il vostro aiuto!

Here are the processetti for the marriage.

http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.i ... ewsIndex=0

The first page is an extract of Saverio's baptism (15 Dec 1803)
The second is an extract of Anna's baptism (30 Mar 1807)
The third is Saverio's father's death record (31 Aug 1806) Gives the deaths of Maestro Saverio and Maestro Nicolo brothers Infantino. One age 40 the other age 38.

First time I have ever seen two deaths in one record.
Places: Jaci, Palazzolo Acreide, Pedara, Trecastagni
Names: Fisichella, Gangemi, Miano, Moscuzza, Smriglio, Torrisi, Valvo

Thank you both so much for your help! what are the processetti? I see that the Spinoso records only go back to about 1809 on family search. Is it possible to take the records back further?

Processetti is a term to indicate all the documents that had to be shown to get married (birth acts of the spouses, death certificates of their parents, when neeeded etc...)
