August 14, 1873 in the city hall at Luogosano

Generoso di Spirito, age 39, shoemaker, son of Carminantonio (deceased), domicilied in Luogosano, presented a female child that he declared was born on, August 13, 1869, at 11 PM, to his wife Angelantonia Martino, age 31, Contadina, daughter of Benegno (deceased), who lives with him at his home on Strada dell Fontana. He declared that the child was given the name of Carmela.

Thanks. I wasn't familiar with that expression. My Italian is pretty good, but I'm not a native speaker and miss things like that from time to time.
