On October 1, 1876 in the city hall at Luogosano appeared Giovanni di Spirito, age 30, farmer, domiciled in Luogosano, who declared that on, September 30, 1876, at 9:10 PM, a male child was born at a home on via Larga Piazza from his union with an unmarried woman, not a relative, ... The last part of the sentence reads né affine nei gradi che ostano al riconoscimento. I'm not completely certain of what this means, but I think that it basically means that her unmarried status precludes her name from being placed in the register.

He declared that the child was given the name of Michele Antonio.
