August 2, 1850 Carminantonio di Spirito, age 45, shoemaker, domiciled in Luogosano, appeared before city officials of Luogosano and presented a baby boy. He declared that the boy was born of Veronica Pepe, age 43, contadina, his legitimate wife who lives with him. The child was born on August 1, 1850 at 8 p.m. in their home. The child was given the name of Ferdinando Davide. Ferdinando Davide di Spirito was baptized in Luogosano on August 2, 1850.
