My grandfather was Pietro Toso. He was born in or near Varese Ligure in 1867, as best I can determine. He immigrated to San Francisco Bay area (California, USA), likely arriving in some time between 1887 and 1889.
He married Giovanna Nave, who was also born in or near Varese Liqure. I believe they were married in California, but have not been able to verify that.
I'm hoping to find others researching his family or perhaps even living relatives in Italy. Thank you for your assistance!
