Francesco Periotto, my great-great-great grandfather died before 1872 and was most likely born in the late 1700's. We have requested information from Italy on family members, but always came back empty. I don't recall why, since the requests were sent out by my mother and sister. My great-great-great grandfather's name is mentioned in the birth of his grandchildren, but only his name.
My great-great grandfather was Domenico Periotto (1810?-????), married to Anna Boschetto (1813?-1872). He had a sibling, Antonio Periotto (1838-????). Antonio was married to Eveonora Gabbioli(????-????).I am fairly certain that Domenico and Antonio were brothers.
I have never encountered Francesco's wife's name or any birth certificate of their children. I am assuming they had more than two children, but I have no information.
I have seen magic wrought by those on here helping. I am clueless how they have discovered documents and such. I've learned a lot using this site and have gained valuable information. I'm wondering if some magic can be done with this family?

Sorry, I just saw your response. For some reason, I do not get notified by Italian Genealogy.com. They lived in Guarda Veneta, Rovigo. But if Francesco moved to Guarda Veneta, that I do not know.

Re: Francesco Periotto
Records for the period you need would have to come from the parish.

Re: Francesco Periotto
I thought so. I haven't had much luck when requesting information.
